Tracker applet fails to reindex after Jaunty upgrade and message box won’t close

After upgrading to Jaunty, the Tracker applet wanted to reindex. It failed to reindex and popped up the message:

Tracker
There was an error while performing indexing:
Index corrupted.

To fix:
Open terminal and type:
$ sudo apt-get install tracker-utils
$ tracker-processes -r
